Anyone can become an Everyday Hero to children living with special needs and economic disadvantage.

By joining Variety, the Children’s Charity of Manitoba’s monthly giving program, you will help ensure that Variety is always able to assist all qualifying children in need.

Benefits of becoming an Everyday Hero

Affordable and flexible: You can choose your gift amount starting as low as 33₵ a day ($10/ month). You are welcome to modify your gift at any point in time and 100% of your donation is eligible for a tax credit

Effective: Your monthly gift provides a steady stream of support that will benefit Variety kids for weeks, months, and years to come!

Convenience: You can choose to make your monthly donation by credit card or by an automatic deduction from your bank account and will receive one consolidated income tax receipt for your annual contributions.

Donating publicly traded stocks or securities to Variety, the Children’s Charity of Manitoba is an extremely efficient way for you to help children living with special needs and economic disadvantage.

Your gift of stock or securities eliminates capital gains, provides more money to Variety than if you personally sold your stock or securities and made your donation from the sale proceeds, and provides you with a larger charitable tax deduction.

Variety, the Children’s Charity of Manitoba’s “Planned Giving Program” is available for donors who wish to make a charitable contribution to children living with special needs and experiencing economic disadvantage in Manitoba through a bequest from your Will, or through a Life Insurance policy naming Variety, the Children’s Charity of Manitoba as the beneficiary. Helping our Variety children in the future is how you can make a difference in the lives that will follow for years to come. You would receive a charitable tax receipt from Variety, which would help offset your final income tax payable. Your generosity will inspire hope, enrich lives and build a better future for Manitoba’s children.
